My third trip to the dealer (my fourth, if you include the purchase) went quite well. The tail lamp malfunction was repaired under warranty, and the shuttle ran me in and picked me up on time despite the rain and traffic.
I wish they hadn't zeroed out my trip odometer, which I use to track my gas mileage. Oh, well, I can subtract the mileage at the last fill-up from the reading at the next fill-up for the correct number, and see if the trip computer is fairly accurate. A small thing indeed, considering how much it would have cost me to have my independent repair it, and to rent a car in the meantime!
