Weight isn't a factor when people want to go fast STRAIGHT.

I would say 90% of real world owners modify, buy, or want to make their car fast in a STRAIGHT line. Let's not pretend it's all about taking corners when almost everyone who buys performance cars never take their car to the track. Some do, most don't. The thrill of driving something fast everyday means a lot to a car purchase.

Autoglory just posted a video today of a model x plaid absolutely walking a stock mclaren 720S.

That SUV weighs 5,400lbs. And a 720S weighs 3200lbs?

And the model x still beat it easily.




EV is the future whether we all agree or not. Might as well embrace this movement.
