Most people are aware that ISTA+ is a free software however don't have the hardware to support it nor the technical knowledge. Sometimes, it's easier just to pay someone else. Just so you're aware, he's even offered to show others how to do it on their own in past discussions if they had the software and technical expertise to do it. He's been very helpful on the forums.

This is no different than a mechanic charging to provide a service vs someone doing it themselves.
