when was the last time you drove one? you are talking about the old pre 2009 ..Porsche had bore scoring issues 1997-2008

the 981 and 718 have zero issues and don't drone on long cruises.
I've have owned both 981 and 718 and have been flawless and are a bargain compared to the bigger heavier big brother 911 these days

droning is usually an issue with aftermarket exhaust and can happen on any car with one.
