We need to see the power curves. There's a big difference between an engine making max power near max RPM and an engine yawning out max power near idle. Not that Im saying thats the case, but I do imagine this will deliver more power at least 1000 RPM lower than the turbo V8, with less fuss. 7 owners also tend to prefer a more subdued, effortless, comfortable ride as opposed to high revving, high pressure noise under the hood. I can understand why theyd go this route, if even just for numbers marketing.
