Nice job tearing down and rebuilding. You saved a good deal of money. In exchange, though, was a great deal of time and frustration. Next time just take it to a qualified autohaus and have them do the work. I had my e38 V8 rebuilt for $5000. Yes, it's a big chunk of cash, but given that I bought the car for $3000, I'm into it for about only $8000. That's cheaper than most used Camry's with the same mileage. Anyhow, kudos for your patience!
