Guy hits him, tries to run. His decision is to then use his vehicle as a weapon, giving himself a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge. Brilliant.
Maybe he should have left this up to his insurance company. Instead he'll be in jail, and there's no way insurance will cover him now.
