How important is it to have latest software version before coding?
I'd like to enable CarPlay on my Feb 2016 750 but it's software has apparently never been updated.
It seems like the software updates via USB haven't worked for awhile and the only answer is to take it to dealer now, even thought BMW still has it available for download.
