The blacked out grille helps, but it's still a horrible look. The fact that the top section is completely fake just to make it larger should never be done on a luxury vehicle. Often on cheap vehicles, fake vents/ports via a sticker are totally normal, this is unfortunately a similar reach to fool somebody. BMW just announced this morning that first-quarter operating profit fell a whopping 78%! Timing that with questionable design choices like this, which even some of the most loyal beamer fans can't stomach, could end up being a really bad combination.
