It's amazing what some of the rental car companies have been able to spec from manufacturers as OEM. As in no cruise control, no roll up windows like you mention, etc. I don't get much choice when I have to do it for work, but I put my foot down at some point for lack of basic features. I don't know if I've ever accepted one of those, but it really blew my mind that you could get cars speced the way some of them were. I'm sure that's the power of buying en-mass, but still...
