I have been desensitized to the X and K band alerts on my V1. I did have the latest update done and it help a bunch. I have since started running one of the BlueTooth programs on my phone to get the GPS features. In Missouri, we still have County Mounties, City and Highway Patrol using K (very few). I tend to use the detector most when in the Z4 on rural two lanes and with that situation, I slow for every alert as it is usually something. I really like that some tractors, combines and MO DOT work vehicles have a X band beacon of some sort. If KA goes off I instantly slow, K, X or laser not so much.
