It was honestly just a matter of time before they did this. I'm guessing this full integration is more of a test to squish the bugs for what seems like an inevitable launch to their Apple Car in the near future.
Of course, it's probably still pretty early to judge when they're planning to launch a full fledged car, if they don't scrap the idea in the meantime but i'm guessing a 2028-2030 estimate.
