No prizes for guessing where I'll be today, yeah glued to the box watching the opening round at Donington and in particular Plato's new team of two Merc A-35's 4 bangers. Each car has 3 ECU's with front wheel drive for these.
That said hoping the Sunbury-on Thames based WSR rear drive BMW 330i's of Rainford and DeLyon can subdue Plato's team

Good news is that more boost has been passed in the regs for this year and the number one target is champ Ingram in Droitwich based VERTU Hyundai team who are entering 4 cars !
The two 330i's are the only RWD cars in the series.

A blow for reigning champ Ingram, he's been banned from race 1 for over-use of boost.
Instead it was Mikey Doble in the small 86 Audi classed as the winner, a deflated Ingram now waits on the grid for race 2 to start.

Ingram starts from the pit lane then his car breaks down b/c of dud alternator ! and N Hamilton visits the gravel and is stuck.

Both BMW's finished 5th and 6th as Sutton in a Focus ST saloon gets the win.
Ingram no score from 2 races as Rainford sets himself 3rd in the championship points.

Rainford starts 3rd with tail gunner teammate DeLyon in 4th in Race 3 soon..Ingram starts from last again with a new alternator fitted
...now the Mini Cooper S championship !
Mini race is RED Flagged as two crash off and one driver sitting up on the stretcher is taken away by Ambulance, both Mini's involved are heavily damaged.
Safety Car re-start for the Mini's, and OVENden wins the race, it was certainly a hot baked one!
