The FITCAMX universal dashcam, Model B, OBD Port, version for $268 looks like the Thinkware U3000 unit, but is about $100 to $250 cheaper depending on who you buy the U3000 unit from ($479 - $568).....
The FITCAMX G12 for $268, that integrated to the mirror and is powered by the wires (rain sensor?) make for a quick, and clean installation, but you sell the vehicle, and don't buy like vehicle, you might as well give the "custom" away with the vehicle. If video resolution, wifi, and App features are all equal, then the FITCAMX would be the clear winner. I may replace the current camera (Vantrue N4 3-CH) with the FITCAMX in my '24 G07. Too many wires in and around the rear view mirror on the windshield with the Vantrue camera. The only issue I really see with these cameras are the rear view camera wiring, where they are routed along the headliner where the airbags are, and the cables provided, are often too short to run along the edge of the floorboards. |

whats the rear camera look like?
Seems to be a china model, the new Thinkware with battery backup is superior with app, features, detection and more. I have the U3000 front and rear, the features are unlimited with battery backup, that powers it for two weeks while the car is parked, you wont get that with this model they are advertising. |
