The thing I like about BMW is that they usually get the middle section of the bodywork perfect. If I think about most models, it's true. However, the front and rear designs are not always so good. For example I think the rear of the E92 is flat and not chunky enough. Not to mention that the E90 and E92s are very confusing being different and now they are going to put the Coupe front on the Sedan. Hmm...
If this was how BMW made the next 7, I'd say the middle-section of the body is great. However, the rear lights are too cheap looking to be on a 7 series. The front bumper is just like the face-lifted 5 - boring. The grille is too big and looks like what you would have on the X5. Also, look how small the lights are compared to the grille.

i doubt that bmw will go with the same looking exhaust that on the 335s. i think its great on them and would have been nice on the 135s but the 5, 6, and 7 and possibly the 8(?) are all more luxurious and that exhaust is much sportier looking. i think their traditional exhaust set up would look better.

haha, it's funny that most people dont like this. I dont really like the new M3 and everyone loves it. I just feel that this would be a good design IF the front/rear designs were a little different. I explained above

I actually like that P'shop. The front grills are slightly too big for my tastes, but for the most part the car looks good.

Tone down the front grills and make the tail lights a little less round and it could look alot better.

+1 i like the new aggressiveness that BMW is trying to do with their cars...that Giant grille looks kinda good on a 80K + car i guess it just screams WOW!!! however the rear could be changed, not a big fan.

If they put kidney grills on an AMC Pacer and stretched it to 205 inches...it would look better than the current 7 series.
I have a hunch the new one will be very good looking. BMW has taken some lumps from the S Class and even the LS to some degree...so they need something that will outshine those. Now get the 5 series restyled pronto. |

God I hate these pathetic noob PS attempts. They always look like crap, they always recycle existing models in the lineup, and they always generate negative attention. Why can't people realize that this is an amateur's attempt at PS'ing his interpretation of the 7 series.
There's absolutely no flow in the back. BMW's have always had flow. That chrome strip and the taillights are completely incongruous. No professional designer would make such a flawed design. Where's Boost Nation. He hates these just as much as me lol.
