FC4 is for me no reference, hence Im able to run it at highest settings with an Asus GTX680 on very good fps.
Try maybe Crysis 3 as I would judge the game as one of the more deeper graphical details than FC4.

Quite happy with my Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 I snagged for $450. Super quiet and am also running it on a 50W power supply.

Nice, I got the 1070FE a couple weeks ago to replace my Titan. Love the card so far, quiet, runs cool, and it effortlessly maxes out just about everything @1600p (Witcher 3 drops down to 40ish FPS occasionally but still, very impressive)

I'd have loved to get the 1070 but it was just a bit out of my range, the 1060 should be plenty for me and is a massive step up for now. Until I get bored with it lol

Quieter and cooler than water cooling, at least for stock performance, and I don't plan on overclocking, so overall a better choice. If I planned on overclocking, things would be different.

Start talking overclocking, and all bets are off; water systems are usually significantly better, but I did say that in my OP, I believe.
