What a great post. Just looked through all of these and its really striking how timeless the 7-series design is (IMHO). The earlier models look great as well as the later ones. They all bring something.

Thanks…yes I love those wheels for sure. Mine is RWD so I have different options size wise without worrying about the transfer case. With x drive the size of tires is critical. I think 245/35 front and 275/30 rears. I use the hankook ventus 12’s. I did pick up a set of factory 18 inch rims with all seasons in the classifieds here a while back that I can swap out when needed though. |

Traded in my 2017 740i M Sport for a 2020 750i xDrive M Sport. Loved the 2 year ownership of the 740, but always felt that the B58 was a bit undepowered for a 7 series. The updated N63 solved that problem. My last Alpine White was an E38 740iL. My other car is a 2020 M2 Competition.

New to the forum. Picked this bad boy up in August of 2023. 2017 750i, 22k miles. Carbon black metallic. So far I've done:
Full body PPF Blacked out reflectors, trim, rear emblem M sport front grill and blacked out verticals Carbon fiber wrap interior trim Upgraded to stainless steel turbo coolant hoses Would really like to lower it, but not sure about the Ghost Links as quite a few here seem to have had issues with consistency side to side. And I can't find anyone in San Diego who can do the programming for it. Will likely at least powdercoat the wheels to a dark gray gloss similar to the lower trim pieces. 21's look awesome but so few tire selections, and 22's leave very little tire. Mine...
Lowering links, tinted front reflectors, wrapped rear trunk strip gloss black, gloss black grille, black dual exhaust tips, M Performance 395mm calipers/rotors, Floating center caps, 12mm spacers F & R, Michelin AS4 255/40/20F & 285/35/20R, EBC Red Stuff ceramic pads F & R, front bumper lip. Everything is PPF'd except the bumper lip, which I still need to do. Still need to: PPF bumper lip Debadge xDrive and 750i or change them to black Possibly powder coat the wheels gloss black 295/35/20 R Last edited by BlackM750i; 02-21-2024 at 05:55 PM.. |

Thanks! The wheels are wide enough for the tires and no concern of bubbling. I am actually going wider on the rear to 295's, which fit. No rubbing issues and it's lowered with these links: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152456012170 |
