also, not looking too closely, which body is on the lens in the picture? and what body were you using for the shoot?

110% 5D but I'm keeping the 40d as a backup and for action/sports shots... fps is much better than the 5D.

Maybe we should have had a letter elimination feature on this contest. Once a letter is used, it can't be used again. My plan involved cats, cushions, and chairs, but that would really be pushing the "c" theme here.

Nah... I think this contest is tough enough as it is. I'd rather see more people submit.

We still have six days right? I have spent most of this time mulling over ideas and I think I finally have mine narrowed down to what I want to do..will spend part of today executing it...

beautiful Dave!

EDIT: I just realized I responded to your photo in this thread, not the snapshot of the day one. Using bokeh is legit for the contest, but I know you can do better Dave.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE the picture (Red Wing BB's are beautiful) but, I do think using "bokeh" as one of your nouns is ummm....a bit of a "cop out"? Still within the rules it being a noun and all....but "C'mon man" (in my best Keyshaun Johnson, Chris Carter voice)...Just my humble opinion....Using bokeh as a word we could have had 30 submissions by now.....

technically speaking... the bokeh isn't actually IN the photo its a principle OF the photo. I think the difference is the bird and brush would be there if I was looking at it in person, the bokeh wouldn't be.

Sorry to read you guys are upset with my use of "bokeh". Feel free to exclude it if you like. There's at least a couple of other "B"s in there, BUT I'm sticking with bokeh because it's clear to see, a noun and within the contest rules, IMHO.

^^^Not upset! LOL...just figured "bokeh" would be "kinda" taboo...it still falls within the rules so no blood, no foul I guess...
