Regional Forum Merge
What about merging all the regional forum together?
I just find it annoying to navigate between model for the same regional forum IMHO (ie CANADA is found under 2-series, 3-series, 5-series, etc... when we could have a regional breakdown). Same could apply to the USA, etc... |

+1. I am new to this forum and I find it annoying to toggle between regional forums and see same events posted on multitude platforms...

I like that idea but would like to see more regions. Pittsburgh is looped with the east coast when it would make more sense for it to be mixed in with Ohio geographically.

That's not the merge he's talking about. It's merge the same geographies on different model forums, so Florida e90post with the 5 series Florida posts, etc.

Maybe I was not clear:
- keep the platform based forums (2-series, 3-series, etc...) - merge regional forum togheter in sub-region that make sense (ie in Canada, we could have Martimes, Quebec, Ontario, etc...) Thanks! |

I don't think it would work well at all.
The high volume series cars would dominate. It would be very frustrating for others navigating through a ton of E90 stuff. I would definitely want to keep our Z series separate.

- you will be able to keep your Z-series separate in the platform forums - regional forums will be merged for events, meets, etc. I propose only to merge the all the regional forums into one forum and keep the platform series as-is. |

I'm not talking about the normal platform posts/ discussions Our Z group regional posts are dedicated to our group and keeping us on top of things. Events and meets from all the other platforms groups would be needless clutter. There is very little that is ever done in common and for those type of events there is the global calendar. Our group would strongly oppose a merger.

So? Who will merge all the regional forums into one, regardless of the platforms?
Regional forums should be "region specific" and not model specific!!!
