I'll always have a soft spot for the E65, it came out when I was a kid and I was astounded by the tech in it and it's why I kept loving BMW much, but the E38 is a dream car for me, need to have one in my garage some day!

E38 is definitely the quintessential 7-series to me.
what a great decade that was for BMW; alongside the E38, they also released the timeless E39 5er and the superb E36 3er. using the same design language to keep the models consistent while making them distinct enough to give them each a unique personality, well done
