BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW 7 Series Individual at SEMA 2016 Elevated on a platform at SEMA 2016 is this sinister one-off 740e which has been thoroughly massaged by BMW Individual. It features Individual Frozen Black paint with Individual Fiona Red interior. They went through all of that and then put brown wood in a car with Fiona Red leather?
That make zero sense from a color or composition standpoint. What the hell? But the rest is very good looking. The 7er has some presence to it. |

The frozen black paint shrinks the size of the car and looks great

About the nicest G12 I've seen to date.
But... Should have better looking wheels (still nicer than stock though). And needs piano black wood inside. But that black paint over blood red interior is menacing! |

The paint looks fantastic. I think the wood and red look fine. The purple ambient light is something I would've changed to red but it's a sleek ride all in all.

65k option on a 90k car. 155k for a 740e, sigh...
Some of the option doesn't make sense, they charge 1500 nappa leather and then 5500 full merino leather. And then 1080 twice for 2 kinds of wood trims? And then piano black wood trim again for 1080. And what exactly is M performance package of 7200 on top of a M sport package of 3400. Really???? |

I had a chance to see this 7 at SEMA to day and it's a beautiful car. There is so much detail you don't notice the wood as much as you do in the pictures. It looked a little darker in person and adds a little contrast to the interior. My only complaint is why not a 750 v8 or 760 v12 instead of a $150k 740??

This is a car for people who love wearing flashy items , red interior ,wood color and matte paint aren't for me .I can't say that's a boring car either

I think the purple interior lighting is throwing me off. Unfortunately, the 7er doesn't have a great lighting complement to a red interior. So when you put red next to purple, next to the wood trim it doesn't look so great. I do like the wood trim on the dash though, you don't notice the color contrast as much.

Don't care for these "wagon wheel" alloys on the 7-Series. Honda, a manufacture notorious for aping BMW, chose the same wheel design for various Accord sedans this year, and the look equally as out-of-place there.
