Comparo G11 7 Series VS Mercedes S-Class VS Audi A8
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Enjoy the video. IMO, the BMW looks much better in the flesh than the other 2...

Ive seen this video. Good points imo. But as much as i dont like how the g11 looks, id still probably take it over the 2.
Although i dont like how the S8 looks either, i found this video today. 3,4 its pretty unbelievable for a car this size, even being the S8 plus. The alpine b7 has more or less the same power and AWD, but i doubt it makes those times. Crazy stuff. |

7 looks sporty, S looks classy and the A8 looks the same as it did 20 years ago.

/er has a truly nice athletic design in comparison to f01. I truly like everything about the car( maybe not the kidney light thing but that´s sorta ok ). I must admit I have thing for current a8. I find that car looks still nice if a bit dull and am a fan of interior especially the ´admirals lever`

Couldn't agree with you more. Especially in this new generation. The new S class is ages ahead of the G11 in comfort, looks, interior and technology.

As much as I love BMW - The Benz is significantly ahead of the 7 in terms of style and luxury-agreed it's the class leader. Benz S Class>BMW/Audi

Just got my G11 but did try the S350d AMG as a comparision but the feel of luxury and look for me the G11 won! That said I think if you took the S500 and ticked all the options (c£10-150k) it would be the luxury car to take. But spending more modest sums (£80k) the G11 for me |

BMW has a very good range of diesel engines for Europe.
M760LI and Alpina B7 are some interesting petrol versions too Next year we'll see the LCI S Class and the new A8. BMW really needs a very good 8 Series to keep its image at a high level with such good rivals! |

The MB is posh. My wife put it this way some years ago: "I'd rather be a passenger in a Mercedes and I'd rather drive a BMW." IMHO that goes across the Board and I have had C Class, E class and S class and 3, 5, 7 (and 8) BMW. Mercedes is a great cruiser. The 7 series is no sports car but it handles like a smaller car, especially with integrated active steering. The Audi is dated and I've had A4 and A6 but not A8 (though I have been a passenger in an A8). Audi is a good car too and you wouldn't go wrong with any of the three but to me there is more smile factor in the BMW.
