Tyre, Body, Gap Insurance - UK advice?
Any UK experiences or advice.
Been offered Gap £500 Tyre and Wheel - £500 Body Smart Repairs - £500 I'd love any tips from you or experiences, recommendations, links or otherwise. The smart repair insurance is nice for shopping trolleys or parking damage...? |

Tire and wheel is $1500-2500 here. Gap is included. No body coverage.

I took out GAP but it depends on how you are getting your car. 500 sounds about right I've used ALA GAP for about 6 years had both back to invoice and lease cover so worth checking them out. The tyre one was 3 years so as I have a 4 year lease was planning on taking it out after a year.. again ALA GAP.
I did discover a local dealer does alloy repairs for about 60 + vat per wheel. Hope that helps |

My car at the time was the VW Toureag with 20" diamond cut alloys (RLine) I checked back and the quote was for 50 to repaint and 80 for full refurb... these prices are excluding VAt so the 50 becomes 60 once you add VAT.
PM if you need more details but glad you got your GAP etc all sorted. |
