Ha! I wonder if "my peeps" turned everyone off, or there are no replies because few people bother to change the fluid?
Internet lore says that if you want to keep the car forever, change it every 30K. If you buy the car used or haven't done it and you're closer to 60 than 30, then it's best to just leave it alone.

If anyone is turned off by the term "peeps", I don't want to hear from em anyway.
But, I decided to have it done. It's all good. |

At 60000 km I had an unexpected mechatronic failure.I made mechatronic replacement together with oil filter/pan change for the 1st time.
Because of this issue I decided to make the 2nd oil change at 90000km together with filter/pan. As aprox. 4-5lt of oil always remain into the transmission I made a 3rd oil change together with filter pan at 102000 km.Now I think that I have completely renew the oil. I think that 30-40000 km is a safe interval for the oil change and of course it depends on the way that you drive and stress the transmission! My car is tuned so I think that 30000km is the optimal interval!!! |
