Ohhh...That's for sure, you can bet on MAX .

I can't imagine the boost he would've gotten if he got the chance to get a lap (and of course pole) and then the win after that. I'm saying "win" because he's always been better than Leclerc in managing tires and it would've been an easy race for him. Definitely an easier won than his win in Canada this year (Yes, he WON Canada) 😂

It's funny. I was talking to a few passionate and lifelong Italian fans at qualifying Saturday, and they seem to be more compassionate for and understanding of Vettel's situation and overall contribution to Ferrari than the rest of us.

Definitely Seb won in Montreal and I'm not happy myself with the way it was handled by stewards. Now if he can get on pole in the Marina..anything to give him a boost.A lot of bad luck can't continue for ever.

Putting together one lap in qualifying is not where I see the issue. To me, he seems to be struggling to put a complete run together during the race. No bias either way from me on Seb, I just like watching a good race!

If you look at high fuel load lap time in practice he averaged a lower lap time than Leclerc in most races. He also managed his tires much better in Hungary (high downforce circuit). It looks like when he's in a comfortable position, he can perform. I believe he needs a life coach that can teach him how to mentally overcome obstacles but he's spending his time on classic motorcycles and with his daughters instead 😂

A pole in Marina?!?!? I don't think so. I'm a very optimistic Vettel fan and I can't hope for anything higher than 4th.

A few of my friends were at the Ferrari event on Wednesday and at the track for the race. At the event they were chanting "uno di noi seb uno di noi" which means "one of us seb one of us". And they posted some videos of fans chanting the same after he spun and while the team was talking pictures with Leclerc. So yeah I believe they are more understanding, they know Ferrari is his dream and they know how much he helped since 2015.

And then to know that the last 2 drivers that won for Ferrari are Charles Leclerc and Kimi Räikkönen which is also the last Ferrari Champion.

Poor Seb.

Brawn had tons of low speed downforce more than any other car and they didn't win Singapore, so maybe you're right and I can be happy for once this season!
Or maybe it'll rain and we see another German GP!

Question now is can Lewis take on new guy on the block Charles with his solid demeanour and his seemingly perfect Ferrari package.
Leclerc is a pretty fast guy and he has what it takes for racing.. but in Monza all cards were on his side.. Lewis was only able to keep up with him on the main straight even with DRS + draft combined.. there is nothing else to have..
yeah wings were tiny but still DRS were something.. i dont know if you guys seen it but like in the mid race, there was a huge understeer once because lack of downforce coming from keeping it too close to Lec's car in Parabolica when HAM wanted get more closer before the main straight.. even if HAM d pass Lec.. i dont think he could ve pull away to keep the lead with Merc's setup.. in Singapore Ferrari ll need additional downforce as well.. otherwise they ll tear the tires up pretty fast.. i dont think there ll be 12-15kmh difference on straights again there.. it ll be less than that..

Thats right, the more downforce then the more tyres will last and not 'go over the cliff' quicker. Not sure on this but is that a low grip surface there..

One of the "cards on his side" is pole position which he only kept because he didn't tow Vettel which according to F1's analysis he would've gotten if he was towed!

That magic carpet drive of Max cemented his name as the Reinmeister on the same level as Schumi was.

4 time Champions don't come cheap and Ferrari pay dearly. The new car was designed with an aero flaw in that it's very fast on long straights but negligible on more tighter tracks where they have struggled. Not VET's fault in that respect and the reds are constantly working on sidepods and internal air escape channels to rectify to a manageable extent.
