Been loving RDR2 on PS4 pro. Such a good game. Spent a few hours getting the best horse in the game. Only one of them in the open world to catch apparently. Wasn't easy lol.

I bought HP Reverb a couple of days ago and I have somewhat mixed feelings, but overall positive ones.

The biggest "wow moment" was when I sat in the cockpit of HS-129 tank destroyer plane (part of IL2-Sturmovik WW2 flight simulator). I hope I can eventually overcome this, as it is slightly better after a few days. It may be a personal thing because I am generally sensitive to sensation of flight, which gets not only recreated by amplified in VR so convincingly.

Sitting down helps a lot with motion sickness, but VR flight games are particularly bad. Best thing for me was a fan, just leave it pointed at me and on a medium setting. I guess it gives the brain a singular point of reference for the body, which helps alleviate the confusion between what your body is doing vs what the eyes are seeing. I still can't play for hours on end, but I usually don't start feeling the effects of VR until 2.5+ hours (which I rarely get to do anyways).

I enjoy VR and have a pretty strong stomach for it. The only time I got sick playing VR was Minecraft VR which was a beta. Those FPS games with free controls (not the teleport gimmick that Skyrim, Doom and other games support) is what gets me.

VR is Racing Sims though is awesome, you get a better sense of depth and in my opinion can judge braking distances better.

I beat BotW (Ganon) last week.

I have like 90% of the shrines, got Dark Link armor, the Hylian Shield, own the house, built the town, etc.

Besides "buy the DLC" any other suggestions on what to do in the game?

I got into Apex Legends for a couple months when it came out on PS4, but needed a break. I'm replaying God Of War at the moment. When I played it the first time, I just mainlined the game and didn't do any side quests so it went by way to fast.

The game is so good, and I have the time right now to give it some attention. Much more time consuming this time through!

Getting back into Call of Duty now that Warzone (battle royale) is out. Played a few rounds last night and it was pretty fun. Still learning what is the best practice.

Just pre-ordered DOOM Eternal from Steam and also bought myself Black Mesa. BM is such a nice remake of HL2. I love how much more interactive it is.

I thought this was released by Bethesda and they have an own game browser, why choosen Steam?

Bethesda doesn't have their own launcher afaik. Just for MMORPG like Elder Scrolls (Not Skyrim, Oblivion etc)

Doom 2016 dropped in price fast after release, im gonna wait since i play it for single player anyway. I think i picked that up for $8

If their launcher is a buggy mess like their previous games, Steam is a smart choice.

Thats not true, they have Quake Champions, Wolfenstein, Fallout 76 and so on. Couldn't really complain about it, isnt more buggy than Origin.
But ok, Steam is an alternative.
