Replacement Command Tablet Cost
Dear Forum members,
I am looking at purchasing a used 2021 750i with the Executive Lounge package. The car is missing the 7-inch command tablet. Can the forum members please advise the cost of buying and programming the replacement tablet from the dealer? Are there any other options than to buy and have the tablet programmed by the dealer? One more question - the car still has 10 months remaining under factory warranty. What will be the cost of buying the extended warranty from BMW? Are there any other options the members can suggest? Many thanks and happy holidays! |

You can get part number from online parts catalogue like realoem or likes, or from your local dealer's parts department.
In Europe, new tablets run around €700, but can be bough a lot cheaper second hand. Just make sure you get right generation tablet, as they changed throughout the productions years. |

Ebay has several of them. I was looking at them the other day thinking of buying one as a backup, just in case something ever happens to my current one and I would already have it.
You should be able to connect it to the car with no dealer programming needed under the i drive menu, mobile devices, and connect a new device. |
