Ordered my 750i Yesterday!!

Received a call from my good friend the GSM at the local BMW dealer. He had 3 slots opened up and let me have one.

Second week of Feb production:

750i
Dark Graphite Metallic
Black Nappa
Conv Package
Driver Asst Package
Luxury Seating Pkg

Rear Entertaiment (kids request)
Sport Pkg
Ash Grain
Head up
Satellite radio
Smartphone integration

Cant wait to see it in early April!

the "vehicle inquiry report" - which assigns the build only has the msrp numbers. the total for the car above and all the options at msrp (incl 825 destination charge) is $97.820.

You can do ED on this car and save a lot of money,plus if you've been a member of bmwcca for over 12 months,you'll get an additional 1500 back.

car will be in port on monday. will see it in about 10 days!!!!

I drove a 750li at a dealer yesterday as was very impressed with the agility and acceleration. it didnt have the sport pkg - but pressing the button to the sport and sport plus modes made the car change into an M5 Jr!

Hi Everyone

I just got the car today - there was a slight delay.

The car is terrific - in fact the best 7 Series I have had. In the past, I've had a 1998 740iL, 2002 745, 2006 750i. I also still have a 2008 M5.

This car handles very well in Sport mode and has more than enough power. The delivery of the power is butter smooth and it is fast when the turbos kick in. I am impressed with the quality of the build and the interior is especially nice. I will post more pics soon.

Yes, it looks black but it is actually a dark gray color. I love it - seems to be a great color - black at night and like a "gunmetal gray" in the day. I ordered this color sight unseen, but very happy with the choice. I think out side the US it is called Sophistico Gray. More pics to follow - hopefully w a better camera than my Blackberry

The headlight in your first picture looks a little funny. I guess it's because it's blurry and out of focus?!?

And do you know when the car was manufactured (week number) and how long the transportation took?

From the order to delivery it took 11 weeks. The BMW Owner's Circle infomration is not very accurate and lagged behind about a week or so.

The time the boat docked in Port Hueneme, it too six days to get to a Northern CA dealer.
