1. 2023 Supra is rumored to have a manual.
2. $35K base price is not a very trusted source. 3. Was it designed by the same clueless designer who designed Tesla Cybertruck..? |

$11k savings over a Supra is if pricing of the new Z is $40k. Considering the base 370Z was just over $30k. I don’t see them going over $40k for new base model. You asked why someone would buy one over a Supra, price is simple answer. Supra will most likely be 25%+ more expensive.

Having owned 3 Z cars in my past and considering myself a fan, I just can't warm up to this one yet. I fully get the fun 4 $ vote and agree, but that front end still loses me. I have never warmed up to the newer Lexus cattle guard front ends either, so I don't think I ever will.
I look forward to some aftermarket adders that will make me warm up to it more. I was never a 350 fan either though and never warmed to it. I had a Z32TT when it came out and really wanted to get one, but just couldn't. The huge step back in performance didn't help. The 370 looked much better to me, but still not enough to make me part with mine. I can't wait to see one in the wild to see if I warm up to them. Sometime pictures just don't translate. I like the interiors and the specs - I just want a car that makes me park it and turn around and take a peek at it when I am walking inside the store.......LOL
