I have had my eye on this watch for sometime now. Pulled the trigger this past Monday while at the Omega Boutique. I have had my Planet Ocean since 2016.

Love that colour scheme, I think that’s the way I’d go if I bought a speedy. Would be a nice change from my SS PO with black bezel and all-black ceramic PO Deep Black.

Always loved the original speedmaster. Heard they're doing away with the hesalite? Or just changing the movement?

I'm waiting to hear if I'll get the new snoopy. Such a neat case back for a total nerd like me haha

They did away with hesalite long time ago and have changed movement numerous times.

I thought you could still purchase a new Speedmaster Professional with hesalite crystal. I know the movement has changed, but the "Professional" is still mechanical, hand-wound, right?

42 mm Moonwatch (model 311.30.42.30.01.005) with a hesalite crystal for $5,300 presently shown on their web site. manual winding.

I'm hard on the stuff I own, this Speedy had been well loved and used. I should take better care but I am who I am. I just got my Sea Dweller back from it's service, it always looks like new for a year or so and then it gets a few scratches and whatnot on it.

I picked up a few new NATO straps recently. Was really disappointed in the quality of the overpriced Omega ones, plus they didn't have versions with black hardware to match my Depp Black watch.

Love the black with small orange stripe, matches the subtle orange detailing on the watch perfectly.
