Only one person talked about the front end, because there is a side by side of the CS concept and the 7-series front. A prick comment gets prick response. |

Mine wasn't a comment, it was a question and a legit one. But whatever.

I am sorry to tell you guys but that teaser pic you are seeing is not the headlights of the new F01/F02 7-series.
That actuall headlight will look much different then that. |

How do you know that? What's your source? Then why does that display say "The new BMW 7 series, coming soon"?

Why do you say that? It was confirmed by people who know in the German Car Zone that the teaser pic is indeed that of the new 7.

I can not disclose how I know this, just wait a few days and realize that the headlights might look similar to those of the teaser pic but those are not the headlights of the F01/F02 2009 BMW 7-series. That's the front end of the CS not a actually teaser pic of the new 7er. I wish it would look like this as well but it won't be, you'll see. |

Look at the first page with all the combo pictures between the teaser and the CS... they look identicle, exactly the same. Even the vertical slats on the grill match and from the spy shots we can see the grill of the seven is different than the CS, even in slat count. I think that's also just a picture of the CS

That is not a teaser of the 7 with a pic of the CS. You can tell by the grille alone. Looks at the chrome inserts of the 7 compared to the CS. Not even close.

Of course that is the new 7 series front end, I think the big banner saying "The new BMW 7 Series. Coming Soon." would be a giveaway
If that isn't enough of a 'hint' then just look at the spyshots |

Guys he's right.
Look at this pic of the 7 testing: 13 grill slats and this one of the teaser pic: 11 grill slats and lastly the CS: 11 grill slats Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, that's simply the CS in dim light.

That test mule, is exactly what it is. It is possible that the production version got 11 slats versus the 13 in testing. Also as someone has already mentioned, look at the chrome in the grille surround. The one on the 7 is much thicker than the CS. But then again, who knows? I see both sides of the argument. We will all find out tomorrow.
