The problem for Audi was how were they gonna top a classic like the first gen A5? Its one of their best designs. The new one doesnt impress, especially from the front. I'm sure it'll drive nice and be more sporty then the previous model. The interior is pretty nice.

The interior looks fantastic. But that's just the general new Audi interior found in almost every new model. Compared to BMW and Merc it's miles ahead in terms of design, technology and quality.

The exterior however looks boring imo. I hate the front. It looks way to feminine. Not aggressive enough at all! They should look at the M4 for design cues and copy these.

You are looking at base 4-series and Msport 4-series competitors here. RS5 will be here soon, with a more aggressive styling to rival the M4.

Yes you are correct. But even the M Package 328i looks a lot better/more aggressive than the S5.

It must have something to do with those hood creases. Not a good association. Not a fan that the headlights look narrower side to side (less wrap around?). And, I don't like the new more angular grille. The profile is not as sleek either, the C-pillar is way too thick looking.

LOL this is so true...I am not a fan either

Garage List
2016 BMW M4  [0.00]
I've always loved the refined external design cues of the A/S5s but over the years they have become bland.
The subtle sporty lines of the A/S models have slowly started to disappear into the portly styling of the body.
It still looks nice just not great or sporty at all. Nothing inspiring.
For the price point the performance is not there either.
So it made sense for the boy racer inside me to go for the M4 when the time came to buy a new coupe last year.
Has the looks & performance I love.

And for God's sake KILL THE CHROME ALREADY!!
