Just thought i'd throw this out there, but keep in mind, since the build quality on this lens is questionable, it is common to get stuck with a bad copy of it. I had to go through 2 50mm f1.8 to finally get one that was "working correctly" so to speak.
This is true for almost any lens since not every single lens (even though its the same lens) is the same. Some are sharper then others, some have less barrel distortion, etc etc. But this holds true more so for the 50mm f1.8 because of the craftsmanship. Nonetheless, when you get a 50mm f1.8 that is on, it is no doubt a GREAT lens and great bang for buck. |

I hate you all. My shopping list this week now includes
- Canon EF 50 1.4 - Canon EF 28 1.8 Then just need to save for the 70-200 2.8L or do I splash out for the 135L? *drools* My only dislike is the 85L and 50L = no USM |
