G27 with OEM 45mm roundels over both logitech logos. I have white + and - symbols for the paddles going on.
I'm using my BMW perf SSk knob on the shifter since its shorter and much heavier than the stock one. I may with to perforated m-sport to match the perforated wheel. no picture of pedals since they are stock. I use the Playstation headphones instead of speakers. i think its the best way to go

[QUOTE=radiantm3;11160071]I know some of you have some nice driving setups. Here's my setup with a little review of the components. Maybe it will convince some of you to stop using the wrong input devices (controllers) for these games.
This setup ROCKS!!!! |

Anywhere from 1-3 grand depending on what parts you get. Doesn't include a PC or gaming hardware.

If you guys were just getting ready to start your setup and budget wasn't a huge deal, what would you get?
Specifically, Xbox One. No need for a display. I have so many displays.

RSeat cockpit and Fanatec Wheel/Pedals/Shifter. I wouldn't do xbox one though. Assetto Corsa is coming to both in June and the PS4 version will run better. If you have multiple displays, I'd go PC personally.

I checked Fanatec's site and interesting that they don't have their normal wheels available anymore. Seems like all they sell is their higher end clubsport wheel base which means you have to buy an Xbox one specific steering wheel along with it (they all work for PC). They used to have a fixed wheel/base setup that worked for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Here u go and not too expensive. there are many racing sim set ups, but, if u looking to use your xbox one or a pc later in the future, this set seem doable. if u looking for the complete stand with racing seat there are many others from a couple 100 to thousands. the one here in the order form is just the stand where u can use your wheel/pedals/shifter and use an office chair, or u can buy the racing seat separate and mount it in the future. Good luck.

Here's a race I recorded of Assetto Corsa. The latest tire model in this sim is just fantastic now.

I was wondering if the sim shifters have any resistance/notchiness that is found in real cars - or is it just so butter smooth that you can shift with one pinkie?

Most are like toys. The fanatec clubsport shifter is the best I've used so far. It's got a very mechanical feel (it's completely made out of metal). But still not quite as resistive as your average real car. It's still Bergius though.

Been using an Oculus Rift since the beginning of summer. I sold all of my displays. It's the most amazing driving experience short of being on track in a real car.
Here's my current setup: The main TV is used to set everything up and mirrors what I see in the rift. Next step for me will be doing 3dof motion. Hopefully before the end of the year.
