Alright so first of all. V12 badge is tacky and doesn't fit. Anyway that's my only complaint. IMO this will dominate the alpina. F10 M5 makes 575 with a 4.4 V8. I'm pretty sure with a 6.6 V12 you can make far far more than 600. And with awd it'll handle much more indeed.
I think this is a success. And with the s class having beasts like the s63 and 65, it's a good start. Edit: just found out the v12 was on the C pillar. And make that a double for tackiness: |

Ok everyone, slow your roll. Even though BMW AG has stated there will be no M7, this is an indication there will be.
That niche is small in size but very, very lucrative. I hope this car sells better than BMW internal projections and actually it would not surprise me at all if this is a market test for a projected M7 that may already be in development since they take seven years anyway. Think of this a bridge car. I know the Alpina B7 literally just came out, but the world needs a bad 7 Series with M aero, large brakes, custom interior, trick suspension, staggered 21" rims and an engine with a designation of S63 Tu3 with a stated 700hp but really is around 820hp! Special order only to eliminate the riffraff. And available with a very special "BMW M Black Package." That was a tangent, I am sorry. Carry on about the new M760i. |

This is for me by far the most interesting 760 so far. I have some gripes though. First, I hoped that they would change the bumpers or something else on the exterior at least slightly. Also, I trust Porsche can build a heavy AWD car and make it feel very sporty. But I dont have the same trust in xDrive. To me it seems like the same, old, heavy, sloppy system that debuted a decade (?) ago. Of course I might be wrong to say that, and xDrive is only a marketing term, but I wish it came in RWD. Oh, and third, I think the steering wheel is
The metal pedals are something I am a big fan of, though!

This output is specifically designed for RR.
Trying to fit it in an M Performance model, making it heavier than a 4,4 V8 Alpina B7 and with lower performance is not the smartest choice... Also the price will be higher than the Alpina's.. They choosed to put it next to S65... as super fast autobahn's pigs.... So the real M Performance model is Alpina B7... |

Same engine as in the Wraith and Ghost. Nice.
Now I don't know which to buy - B7 or 760? V12 don't really have an advantages in performance these days. It's just all about the smoothness of the engine, V12 badge and that it's the most expensivest shit. Ain't nothing wrong with that, though. Thank God ze Germans still want to make big engines. |
