What I was saying was that it was stupid to generalize a demographic shortcoming by basing the success and integrity of the household on one person (in this case, the father), which in turn undermines the strength that other potential members can bring; also, the positive influences that come about from such sources. PoorLurker was there, he knows. Same with MKSixer.
