Nothing has panned out with the other places, did contact the one guy the other day but said they're still trying to fill a territory manager so that's up in the air.


Company I work for is pretty good, so he has offered up some other locations that I can transfer to. Offered a position as possibly a traveling engineer, so I told him that would be ideal, so just have to see what comes of it. Will finish my time here by February.

On another note, my road was literally a sheet of ice this morning. I was backing out of the driveway at like 2mph but nevertheless, once I hit the road there was no stopping. Just slid slowly into the snow bank. Was a little worried because there was no traction to get turned around and I'm sitting there blocking the road, knowing that if someone is coming along, even if they see me 50 meters away, there was no way they could stop and I had my little son in the back with me.

After a number of attempts of using the snow bank for some traction for the rear wheels I managed to slide out of my driveway on enough of an angle to be facing the right direction along the road. Very slow going till I hit the major street though. In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't snowblow the driveway last night which I had intended to do as not doing so left some nice crunchy icy snow on it which provided traction this morning.
