You do realize in the time of Ambiorix, much like Alexander (of whom I'm no relation to), many people of the culture engaged in de-facto of bisexuality. Pretty much a lot of men screwed chicks and dudes, so if one was known to have sex with a dude it wasn't thought of as odd.
