My opinion was not sought, but as usual, I'm happy to give it anyways.

From the above picture, we can deduce that they are very much attracted to the Michelin Man. Perhaps because it appears his entire body looks to be made up of individual caterpillars. Especially his arms.

Thus, the groupies in the above picture are simply trying to get as close to their king as possible for future reproduction.

With said future eggs carefully laid in the grooves of the supple leather seats.
One of them made it home. I'm now introducing a feral species of caterpillar to my neighborhood. There numbers will be at crisis level soon.

That was last year. It was awful. Glad it won't happen for another 17 years.

That's a little extreme.

They are fucking huge though. And they're dumb as hell. They'll fly right into you. Stupid things. The sound they make is awful too.

Last year was the first time I saw them. Luckily, 17 years ago when they came up from underground, I was overseas during that time.

There are several species of cicadas. Only 1 appears on the 17 year cycle. MD and WV have them pretty heavy.

Shit. Honestly at this point, wouldn't mind moving around and seeing a bunch of different states and manufacturing plants. Hoping in a couple years can just station an apartment here or in MI and just travel the US/EU.

All about climbing that corporate ladder.
