Yes, they managed to make it bigger! Did they also manage to make it heavier too!?

My biggest takeaway from that size graphic is how small the new supra is.
Also, would be more interested to see that comparison based on wheelbase rather than total car length. At least the 911 would drop way down. |

Dan Passe said the online debut is still taking place.

Unless Nissan really blows it out of the part with this one, Toyota all the way. At least Toyota still seems to car about motorsport and sports cars past meeting yearly "Sports car segment Sales quotas". For me, Nissan really died off a bit after the R35 was launched in '09. That was the Nissan nail-in-the-coffin for me.

Umm - you do realize that the Supra and GR86 are not Toyotas? Lol One is a BMW rebadge and the other is Subaru rebadge. |

^ and before those Toyota had abandoned any kind of fun/sports car since the MKIV supra - until these new ones which, as said, are entirely not their own.
compared to Nissan who has offered a 350Z, 370Z, S15, R35 the whole time...? |

Well bmw just recalled some 13014 supras for a brake booster software issue so yeah
Just because it's a Toyota badge won't mean it's reliable Hope they work out the bugs on this Z since it actually can be had with a manual |

There "shouldn't" be too many bugs. It's basically a 370Z chassis with a Q60 engine. Of course I've been wrong before.

Nissan has gone astray for quite a while now. I grew up in the 00s lusting after the 350Z/G35 because Nissan actually cared, but after like 07 their identity just fell apart. But it seems that they are trying to change things around? Dropping the CVTs is a welcome start.
Whilst I am glad that the Supra nameplate exists, I don't love the design still. Hoping that Nissan really tried to go back to their roots a bit with this new Z and not just some reskinned lightly refreshed 370Z. |

Looks fine, but it's still a car built on ancient bones by a dying company. There is almost zero way this is a better car than a Supra other than the fact that it can be purchased with a manual transmission.
