It was a robot arm. Sounds like the worker went into the work area without doing a LOTO. So the arm moved and pinched the worker.

The worker was not attacked by a humanoid robot. It was the usual arms used for a couple of decades.

This “news” is the worst of the cheesy clickbait I’ve seen of late. Somewhat amusing though at some level.

Only you have suggested that it's not a humanoid robot, read all of the article.

The implication that it was one of the prototype humanoid robots is contained visually in the Dailymail article and on numerous sites on the internet. In fact, it was a quotidian robotic arm that is prevalent throughout many types of industry.

This is over sensationalized yellow journalism. Drudgereport.com at the moment is the best example of this.

It took 36,000 gallons of water to extinguish Tesla fire in Alabama
Dec. 26, 2023
A Tesla crashed and burst into flames in Alabama on Christmas night, requiring more than 36,000 gallons of water to put out the fire, according to authorities.
For instance, firefighters in Franklin, Tenn., recently reported using 45,000 gallons of water over several hours when battling a burning Nissan Leaf.
Authorities said a Tesla burns at temperatures exceeding 2,500 degrees C. The smoke from burning electric cars produces hydrogen fluoride, and hydrogen chloride gases - both of which are toxic to breath and requires firefighters to wear breathing apparatus.

Yes folks this technology being forced on you by the same people that restrict the water in your dish washer so it take 2 hours to clean the dishes you prewashed, that restrict the water in your clothes washer so your clothes don't get clean and you know that doesn't happen in your 1.25 gallon toilet that you have to flush twice. The people that have made "High Efficiency" synonymous with doesn't fricken work. Too bad we don't have a "High Efficiency" Government.

Man, you just make great points. Thanks for being one of the intelligent people that uses the internet.

I hired an electrician certified by Tesla to put in my level 2. Absolutely fantastic job was done with high grade parts and supplies. If the demographic who can afford new Porsches wants to cheap out on substandard outlets then they likely face innumerable other risks that common sense can mitigate.

From your article:

"Given that many people cannot be bothered to read the first page of the owner's manual, Porsche kept receiving reports of overheating from EV and PHEV owners who didn't bother reading the charging instructions."

There is going to be a learning curve on best practices for EV fires. The same has been true for house fires with rooftop solar arrays.

yeah, I also don't bother reading about those EV fires, unless the article mentions 5000 or 10,000 gallons of water being used or something.

The real curve is the one created by these batteries getting older and having more cycles on them. Unlike fine wines LiPo batteries don't get better with age. This is going to get far worse.

'God of Chaos' Asteroid Set to Come Closer to Earth Than Any in Recorded History in 2029
The Apophis asteroid, also called the “God of Chaos,” is expected to fly by Earth in April of 2029.
According to NASA, Apophis is expected to come as close as 20,000 miles to Earth on April 13, 2029. It noted this is “closer than some satellites, and close enough that it could be visible to the naked eye in the Eastern Hemisphere.”

Yes the folks that screwed up the Mars Climate Orbiter. "As a result of this simple misunderstanding, the spacecraft was lost upon arrival at Mars." Are OK to compute the trajectory of an asteroid in 6 years?

I had to post this because “God of Chaos,” was too funny.
