A lot of people including myself see the front of a car as its "face" and the grill is the mouth or the nose. I don't find Teslas attractives because they lack a grill.

I think electric cars can have a grill, but I don't think it needs to be huge. Something the size of the i3/8's grill would be fine, but the 7's schnoz just is too much in my opinion.

I've been a bimmer fan since James Bond drove his 7 series on his communicator phone.
When this hideous vehicle comes out, it will mark the end of that fandom. RIP |

Has BMW shown any concepts or designs with split headlights or is thus just the artist's idea?

Pass.
S class (rhetoric: Why did Tesla call it model S and not model 7, yet called the smaller cousin model 3) Alternative, Air from Lucid motors for when Some of us can 'afford' a 100k car, or maybe then we just get an M5 comp if no consideration for EVs On the topic: Split headlights look cheap, designers are going bonkers. Maybe someone came at their desks and said no more evolutionary designs, go crazy with creativity, the result has been obscene mismatch in design elements. Or..... the beaver teeth need some company with screwed up headlights to 'complement'

How hard is it for them to just give it this face? One generation of the 7er having a buttprint on its face is enough. |

Lol why is everyone getting so worked up about a rendering - a poorly done one at that. It's way too early to even fathom what the real thing is going to look like from the camo'd spy shots. Give it a rest.

Second most popular thing to do is endlessly complain about new design cues for a few weeks, then proclaim "the car is starting to grow on me."
