Sooner or later BMW won't have to make the hood open anymore because you can service everything through the MASSIVE kidney grills lol

No major changes to the interior. The LCI is going to focus on changes on the exterior only similar to what BMW did with the facelift on the E90.

That's too bad as this car is equally as boring from inside as it is from outside.

The bland design is the primary reason why this thing doesn't sell.

The thing is hideous. These grills are just so ugly it's unfathomable. This really is akin to the Bangle years but IMO way worse. To those that say they look better in person, they don't. Maybe you get used to them (I can't) but they definitely don't look better in person. They stand out more.

How come they design such an ugly face with 7er which is derived from a so beautiful concept model?

Likely the same thought as I had. What in the world are the designers thinking?
"BMW grills must be BIGGER than Audis and Mercedes front grill
" >>> ugly

Aside from the idrive 7 and the digital instrument cluster found in the new X5, the rest is pretty much the same layout.

Biggest changes are in the outside front and rear and new bonnet.

I would normally say it [the grilles] will grow on you, but I hope not. It will look better in person

They aren't Audi/Lexus whose grills are actually the whole front of the car. I've seen the new X5 in person (bought one actually) and the grill works so I'd imagine the same will be true here. I don't see why people are so offended by the design, if you don't like it buy the huge grilled Audi, Lexus or just get a Mercedes
