Nah, like I said in the other thread, we had high, thin clouds last night, so the moon was washed out and surrounded by a huge glow. With my lack of a long lens and the sky conditions, I wouldn't have had much luck.

Besides, it was Cinco de Mayo and the Pina Coladas were flowing.

The moon looks a tad over-processed. Maybe too much sharpening or contrast? You're right, it does look like a composite image.

Stop trying to be like me! lol Nice pick up. Well worth the pain of clicking the 'submit order' button.

Jeff, honestly if online shopping wasn't as easy as clicking a few buttons, and instead we all had to go the retail store, place an order, wait for it to arrive, pick it up, etc... I'd have less equipment.

lol My townhouse would be empty right now and I'd be a lot richer if there was no such thing as online shopping!

I bought an Angle Finder C for the T1i tonight because I thought the magnification factor might make manual focusing easier. Wouldn't have thought about it if it hadn't popped up on the POTN sellers' forum.

I owned an Angle Finder C for a while and found it useful on my 20D. Once Live View with 10x magnification came out, however, I found it provided easier and more precise focusing than I could manage with the Angle Finder. Fortunately there's still a good used market for them and if you get tired of yours you can sell it for around $140-150.
