What’s the story on the 5100s? Are those what came on the TRD Pro 4Runners? Good work regardless!

They are stiffer than the OEM Bilsteins that came with the offroad package on my FJ. Tired of it driving like a wallowing 1980s Cadillac!

I'm in the early phases of a garage plan and definitely want some proper cabinets this time.
I got them from Costco last year. They are made by New Age. They are welded together and come fully assembled. I have all of them mounted to the wall so they don't need legs on the ground, making sweeping up much easier.

I had a small amount of quality control issues that were taken care of without question. A panel door with some paint finish issues and the light shroud that had duct tape left on and the powder coating was done over it.

These are priced in line with stuff you get from Home Depot or Lowe's etc... but they come fully welded and assembled. 👍

I brought a pair of those TYC side markers a while back.

The OE ones were yellow and made the car look old

how high did you mount the cabinets? 6 inches above the floor?
Thank you. Yeah, all of the cabinets are off the floor and roughly 6" above. They are quite strong and secured with a number of lag bolts.

Always had less than stellar cookware. Finally decided I’d buy something that will last. Started my new collection with these.

I was halfway kidding though I do like the brand. It's $$ though and similar to Le Creuset, but everyone buys that brand.

Living with someone that is all about not having chemicals ingested blah blah the caraway is a great set. All the eco friendly BS I couldn’t care less about. But, their offerings are limited. Similarly priced 8 piece unit between them and la creusette just different materials. Don’t think you can go wrong with any listed but I wasn’t alone in my decisions LOL.

The last time I tried ceramic cookware everything either stuck to it or it got horribly scorched permanently. Admittedly, it was a cheap pan from Target or something. How's the cooking experience with these?

If you are serious about cooking, then invest some something that's tried and true. This Caraway brand has only been around for a year and is direct to consumer. Most folks probably buy it after seeing it on social media.

In the middle of an entire remodel, so those nasty counters and backsplash in that photo will disappear soon. The floors just finished being installed and our oven put back. I’ll let you know how it is, I don’t expect anything to stick to these at this price point.

While that assertion may hold merit, I posses no such shitty ways of consumption. These have been around for 3 years, not 1, and have gained a lot of praise and respect with the only comparison being the one you made, lack of tenure. Everyone has a start, I’m helping continue to give caraway theirs.

I bought my wife 2 pieces of Le Creuset, thought she'd love them but quite the opposite. Like a previous person said, she found the ceramic coating made things stick horribly. She went back to cast iron which I don't like because of the smoke factor they create sometimes.

Did we do something wrong or should we have gone with something nicer?

You have to use oil for those enamel finished cookware brands to prevent sticking, no?

The instructions call for light butter or oil so i’d assume so. If these suck, they will go RIGHT back. If they are good, I’ll certainly let y’all know.

Which piece of Le Creuset did she own, what was she making with it and what kind of heating source did she use? They can all play a factor.

Of all the Le Creuset pieces we own (braisers, Dutch overs, sauce pans and roasters), they are all cast iron. We do have a few frying pans by Le Creuset (forged hard anodized) but most are All Clad. When I cook outside, I use cast iron Lodge pieces.
