My first BMW was an E46 325i. Had it for a year and moved to a ZHP sedan afterwards. The E46 is/was such a great platform.

My first was a 2001 330i, had that thing for close to 6 years with mtech and all. Learned a lot about working on BMWs during that time.

My first BMW was the ex car of my dad. He gave it to me as a present. It was an E34, 1993 BMW 520, green color.

I still have the smell of the car. It was pretty impressive.

My first BMW is a 2022 M850i Convertible. I sold a 911GTS Cab and bought it. Something I’ll probably never do again, sold the 911 to a dealer for almost what I paid 3 years ago. Strange times.

Mine was a 1983 E21 320i. Later transplanted the 2.3L I6 from a European 323i.

My first BMW was a Titanium Silber 320i convertible manual (1999 model) back in Germany 2006. Updated Alpina spoiler, 18' wheels and H&R springs - it was such a great car. Had to sell it in 2010 when moved to the UK.

No photos but my first is a 2003 TiAg E46 M3 coupe, 6MT I bought back in 2018. Its been a challenge but still enjoy driving it everytime I go out.

Hoping to switch to an El Diablo exhaust before I put it away for the winter this year, really want to hear what this car sounds like with a proper exhaust.

Same here; 03.5 in 2006. Super-questionable financial decision, but I wouldn’t trade the experience of enjoying an E46 M as a young guy while it was still the current model for any number of dollars or house deeds.

Mine is less impressive than yours but still I love it 216d (F45) 2016.
Small, quick enough and fun to drive.
cheers

Just purchased a 2018 f30 320d and can't be happier. Tested an A4 and a C class but the F30 was the better drive by miles

My first car was a 40 hp 1 litre polo from 2000. There was not any power left in it. I got my first bmw car after it, f30 320i lci. Its a world of difference. Except for the mileage, 1 litre per 10km on both of them average.

My first car was a '49 Chevy rolling chassis. I never did finish it. My first registered, legal, running car was a '67 Dodge Dart. Not long after that, my first BMW was a 1986 535i which I wish I still had honestly, that was a great (redacted) car. After a long string of VWs and two Porsches I bought a 2009 335i for my second BMW which I still have.

My first BMW is sitting in my garage right now. My first car was a '76 Nova slant 6. Simple, reliable, maroon (inside and out), and with a horizontal 55 mph speedometer without a stop for the needle on the left, so it turns out you can go MPG fast on the freeways on Montana – just keep that needle going clockwise.

More stories to come about the 1er as I start accumulating trips and miles, I'm sure. So far, it's been mostly surprised laughs: the sounds it makes when blip ping the throttle on a downshift, the sheer stick when accelerating up a nicely curved and cambered long on on-ramp; the joy of finally being back in a RWD car...

1971 BMW 2002 alpine white with blue interior. 51k miles, popped out of 2nd gear, shot center bearing, trashed Guibo, fubar carb. Purchased at age 15 1/2 for $1500, and my dad and I fixed everything before I turned 16. I drove it for 10 years and >100,000 miles before being pile driven by a Buick.
