Me neither. Other than 1 a-hole I had to ignore (to avoid getting a warning by responding what he deserved), this is a great crowd . Nothing wrong with respectful disagreements. And yes, kudos to Slam . Hope the last race is exciting, whatever happens. Don't want somebody leading from the first freaking lap until the end. I want to see smoke, parts flying (usually the case), middle-finger showing, kicking, many lead changes.... and an exciting end. Come on guys, give us a memorable final race .

Holy crap guys, I was kidding then I said E90SLAM was racist...
I've also only had to add 1 person to my ignore list. We have a pretty cool crowd here and the 10 or so of us who frequent this F1 portion of the forum are pretty well-read on the topic. I really enjoy this stuff and will definitely miss this in the off-season!!!

That video proves that it is virtually impossible to frown on a roller coaster.

Red Bulls are on top again after P3. But it looks like Alonso and Hamilton weren't pushing all the way. I think qualifying is gonna be a show and seriously doubt a Red Bull lockout of the front row again.

Alonso's starting in 3rd behind Vettel and Hamilton. Then Button's 4th with Webber and Massa behind him. The grid is looking solid for an Alonso championship!

I love how for any accomplishment or any kind of outcome after any session, Schumacher can and most of the time will walk over to whomever finished first, give them a pat on the back, maybe shake up their hair, and probably say "good job, KID." the air reading: "been there, done that... more times than anybody else."
such a good season. (yes I am a Schumacher fan, and no I'm not crazy; my mother had me tested)

Tomorrow is going to be interesting . Barring mechanical problems, SV should win the race relatively easy. But it'd be a pretty long shot for him to win. Hamilton is basically out of chances. Alonso has the best odds to win, obviously, but those odds will go dramatically higher if he comes unscathed after the first few curves. Where it'd get REALLY interesting is if something happens to FA that makes him DNF or finish P6 or higher. A P5, even if SV wins, would give him the WDC. MW is in higher risk of an incident in the first curve. Rain would make this race extremely interesting, but it's as likely as LH winning .
Any new predictions? I think the odds are like this: FA, SV, MW. All 3 should end up pretty darn close though. Great ending. Hey Slam, how about posting new technical regulations for 2011, or whatever comes your way during the off-season? That'd be great . Hope the rumors of a FI V6 are not true, at least not until 2013. I want to hopefully see my first F1 race in Austin with V8 sound . Also heard tires will be 'crappier' on purpose, to make racing more interesting. And I agree. Being able to finish a race on freaking option tires (other than a mandatory pit stop, like SV and others have done) is ridiculous, especially with no more refueling. It should be at least 2 pit stops, no? Whoever clears the first curve usually stays in the lead. Have a good race folks. Last edited by JCtx; 11-13-2010 at 08:18 PM.. |

I seriously doubt that. The McLarens are much faster in the first two sectors. I'd be willing to bet Hamilton passes Vettel at the end of the long straight. The Red Bulls don't have an advantage at this track because the sector where they pull away from everyone has no overtaking spots. So once Hamilton gets the run on the way down the straights it's gonna be over.

Ok, I was sorta half-asleep during Quali this morning. What's the story with this shot? Anyone know?

Hamilton was dragging ass at the end of the second long straight. Massa went around and entering that left hander Hamilton sped up. They both went through the corner wheel to wheel with Hamilton completely on the curb. His nose hit a bollard which had a camera in it.
