Wow..ground breaking stuff indeed..the idrive screen is now touch screen!! Who would have thought!! And now you can make gestures like a moron while driving aswell!! Some awesome tech right there..
2 billion useless driving assists that 90% of owners aways keep disabled most of the time so it stop bothering you..awesome.. Hot spot on your car? Never seen before..unbelievable indeed this new 7. Wireless charge your phone its pretty useful though..just hope it wirelessly connect to the idrive aswell. But what disapoints me the most its the design..huge headlights..I thought scott said it would resemble the vision luxury but im failing to see where? I think if BMW hadn't given us the VL concept, i would never know how good this car could have looked like and wouldn't be so upset lol. |

+1, I'd like to know. I can think of a few really bad scenarios (i.e. pot holes, deer, wandering children). I'm sure there are additional security measures but the potential is terryfying.

I'll reserve judgment until I see see the beast in person. However, I do agree in principle to this statement. The new 7 will have to bring a lot to the table in order to best the S.

Exactly what I was thinking. Hell even the wireless charging is already available in some other production cars. All in all, sounds like they're playing catch up.

Does the sunroof actually light up, or can the driver control its transparency like the new S-class roofs? And do the panels operate independently, so the rear passengers can adjust their panel the way they want? |

Sounds awesome!
For the record I don't get the love for the S Class here. I think the interior while maybe luxurious is hideous.

There are many instances when you know where the potholes are and you do not tend to make a sudden lane departure to avoid them. I do this on a daily basis on the way home from work. I do not drift in to the other lane, but I do go a bit over the shoulder to avoid 3 bad patches on the highway.

I see that Kool-Aid was served at this event.
