No worries of that happening today - rained (lightly) all day...but the up side, short/no lines for the 'good' slides!!

Will be back tomorrow in the AM - then baseball game tomorrow night with fireworks - later bar hopping with the IL's.

I will be going to Ferrari Dealership , and order a street legal version F138 with full telemetry and spear parts. I've talked to Scuderia Ferrari on the phone at Maranello. They told me the finished project+delivery is about 80 years away.

Besides daydreaming stated above, I will be just going to someone's house for 7/4BBQ and firework. I am just gonna leave before firework. He have some fireworks from "out of state."

Meh, why would I?

We know what you know about me, I married money big time and now I'm showing off by buying fancy cars and not giving a shit. I'm cool with it. I'm just pushing others down because they want the same things, and while being prettier and younger, they'd be ready to take my place.

My point is, I have said what I needed to say in other threads. I doubt I'll ever reach the level of wealth owning multiple cars, horses, closets for shoes and rely on my income only.

I'm so failing here.

Budget allocation and diversifying the income would be one that I recommend to few people.

As people know that I am not a rich guy or anything. Probably BELOW median of what people make here. I am trying to Live moderate to conservative life , but did buy few toys last year.
Reason I need to be more frugal and conservative than others are because i am self employed and who knows what would happen tomorrow? Uncertainty is the biggest issue for me. Who knows? I might only make $50 this month.

If I had a YOLO mentality and speculated that I will have same/similar stream of passive/active income coming in, I would seriously be ordering major toys+house+items.

You guys would be surprised if you guys see my monthly budget. I am prepared for the worst. IF we both had $13/hr jobs, I think we can still afford our lifestyle (without any passive income).

Well, not to mention- at least with cars, as long as you have a strong credit history/score- these "toys" aren't really all that expensive given leasing is an option.

Had I decided to do monthly payments on my upcoming vehicle rather than a single pay lease, it would have been 1500 a month.

Sure it's about 1200 dollars more than what a purposeful cars payment should be- but in retrospect- it's not a bad price considering it's a 130K car.

The way I see it- we all have our likings/vices.

Some people like vacationing. Others like drinking/partying. Others like to shop.

It all adds up, so it just comes down to what keeps you getting up for that paycheck

Hahaa, I get this.

I want to be home with the kids. I have no big expectations. The stuff I do at nights is dangerous, so within lets say two years someone kicks the shit out of me. Ego busted, Anna needs a new hobby.

It's never what you make. I know single men with garages full of goods. My aunt wears my hubbys old sweat shirts. None of it matters if they are within their budgets.

Lets say, I start hunting for a sugar daddy number two, find one and he's stupid enough to want to tie the knot. I could be madly in love but with a prenup no babies or me saying yes wouldn't happen. he would have his first love already. I'd accept defeat.

If you see it that way, the automobile %rate is lower than some of the inflation index/indices. If you can make $ by keeping 130k cash, I would totally agree about financing.

My monthly budget very low. lol
I get those email from BMW on special lease on 320d, and I just don't know how some people can afford to pay that much.

1500.mo on lease is too much for my budget.
1500 would be about 35-40% of our monthly budget including 3 vehicles+mortgages+insurance, etc.

I think I faced financial hardship before, and I just want to be within the budget of 25-33% over poverty (regardless of my passives) Yes, at the end of the year, we do reconciliation to see how much disposal we have.

Don't get me wrong, we do drive a car which cost about same as M6.

We need to compare our old monthly budgets. It would make you laugh how madly I calculated everything.

Well, I also thank my conservative multi-millionaire friends.
"if he is driving a 2007 Rav4, at a current transportation budget to asset ratio, it is like our ratio cannot even afford a bus fare!" Those type of relative comparison did help a lot. HPwever, we are now trying to find happy medium.

Also, most of forum members here seems to have the budgeting mastered.
Some of my friends in mid 40s who makes decent income STILL Struggles and live paycheck to paycheck.

Maybe her mom is helping her, the same way your husband is helping you out. I mean at least Sara has a job.

My CA already emailed me letting me know to expect drive off around that time (barring it doesn't get damaged in the voyage over) so I already responded to ensure A) no front license plate is installed during prep B) they don't leave the car in the showroom C)take a picture of the odometer and send it to me the day it arrives at the dealership.

He told me it's already buzzing around the dealership that a 6spd mt is heading there, and he saw their eyes light up as if they have the intention of taking it for a joy ride before I pick up. That's what prompted me asking a photo of the odometer.

No ones going to break my baby in except me!

The only thing my Mom helps me with is baby sitting and guidance on being a Mom. She has my mini this weekend while I birthday shop. This is my first time planning a party for her and I'm overwhelmed with joy and excitement. I've got a petting zoo, piņatas, music, food, a gift table set up, balloons ordered, games, two cakes ordered, alcohol, catering, gift goodies for the kids in attendance, decorations, thank you cards, took professional birthday pictures last weekend to be framed and displayed in the foyer. I feel like I'm forgetting something though. Thoughts?
