I should have parked 2 spots away from the 1st spot and on the diagonal. Next time I'm in a GODDAMN WIDE OPEN parking lot, I'll remember to do that.

It's a well-known fact in California that if you put on your hazard lights, you may park ANYWHERE regardless or normal rules/regulations.

I dunno, Unc, my experience was that Boston was the absolute worst place for parking. It seems to me that double-parking and thereby impeding traffic was the standard everywhere.

BUT, in Boston you conceivably could be cited for said double-parking? Not true in Cali (or so some people think) Handicapped, fire hydrant, middle of the street because you're too fuckin lazy to pull up against the curb 5 feet in front of you.

Worked there for 40 years and be glad the crazies are parking because it is MUCH worse when they drive. Boston drivers are so bad they got their own book.
